Pack 333 Makeup Bridging, Patapsco Camping and Rockets 18-20 August 2023 Sign-up

Good evening Pack 333 families. Our third 2023 camping trip to Patapsco State Park McKeldin Area is fast approaching. We will be camping at the Youth Group campgrounds and can check in as early as 3pm on 18 August 2023 and must check out of the campsite by 12pm on Sunday 20 August 2023. We will be able to drive and drop equipment then park and walk back to the site. There is potable water listed as available, but we will be bringing water just in case of a pump failure (which does occur). Our site is listed as an accessible site; with it being summer time the Park has MD State Park entrance fees. There is opportunity for fishing, hiking, biking, as well as water Rockets and Geology Adventures for our Cubs. You are welcome to participate in just day events or camp one night or both nights - it's local and accessible.

I've also attached a general Outing and Camping Information document that lists items to bring, what the Pack is bringing, and some general considerations. For this trip, we will have the make-up bridging ceremony at 7pm followed by a Campfire and are asking families to have their own dinner for Friday night. Once we have a better idea of the number of persons, we'll be able to plan the remaining meals. The Pack will provide breakfast (pancakes, basic eggs, fruit, sausage or bacon) for Saturday and Sunday mornings. If there is something in particular you definitely want cooked, definitely don't, or would like to cook please let me know.
